At Barnora, we prioritise product quality and customer clarity. We maintain a strict returns policy to prevent misuse while ensuring redressal for clear store-side errors. Please read carefully before placing an order.

Customer Purchase Guidelines

Key note

Returns are not provided as a general service. Limited exceptions apply only when the issue is clearly Barnora’s error (store error). We request our customers to kindly review size charts, product details, and descriptions carefully before placing an order.

Return Method (store-error exceptions)

If an exception applies, products must be returned in their original condition:

Unused and unwashed

With original tags and packaging intact

For store-error cases, a full unboxing video is mandatory as proof

Return Shipping

For store-error cases, Barnora will cover return shipping after verification.

Return Process Time

Return processing (inspection + decision) is usually completed within 7–10 working days after the returned product is received.

Returns & Exchanges — General Policy STORE-ERRORS ONLY

General policy: Barnora does not offer routine returns. Returns, refunds or exchanges are permitted only where a clear store error is confirmed (examples below). This keeps prices fair and helps us maintain product quality for all customers.

Acceptable store-error reasons

  • Wrong item delivered (different product)
  • Wrong size shipped (we shipped a different size than ordered)
  • Defective or damaged product received

Strict proof & timeline: For any store-error claim you must initiate a request within 2–3 days of delivery and provide a full unboxing video showing packaging, product, tags, and issue. Claims without the unboxing video will generally be declined.

Assessment & approval: All claims are subject to inspection. Barnora reserves the right to approve or reject returns/exchanges after verification. Any approved refunds or exchanges will follow the rules below.

Refund Policy

Note: Cash on Delivery (COD) payment is currently not available on Barnora. We recommend prepaid orders for faster processing, priority shipping, and hassle-free delivery.

Refunds are issued only for confirmed store errors (wrong item, wrong size shipped, defective product or change of minde are not accepted).  — 

  • No refunds or exchanges will be accepted for personal preference, sizing issues, color variations, or change of mind.

  • If a genuine issue is verified from Barnora’s side, the refund will be processed back to the original payment method within 7–10 working days after inspection and approval.

Processing timeline

Once a return is approved and product received, refunds are processed within 7–10 working days. Typical timeline breakdown:

  • 1–2 days: Internal inspection
  • 2–3 days: Refund processing internally
  • 2–3 days: Refund shows in customer’s bank/payment portal

Total: Usually within 7–10 working days. In rare cases, delays may occur due to bank or payment gateway processing times, which are beyond Barnora’s control.

Refund mode & deductions

Refunds are always processed back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

A flat deduction of ₹200 may apply on approved refunds, except in cases where the return is due to a confirmed store error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective/damaged product).

Exchange Policy

Exchanges are allowed only in the rare event of a confirmed store error, such as:

Wrong product delivered

Wrong size dispatched (different from what was ordered)

Defective or damaged product received

Exchange Request Timeline

Customers must notify Barnora within 24 hours of delivery in case of a store error.

All exchange requests must be raised within a maximum of 7 days from delivery.

Requests made after this period will not be accepted.

Conditions for Exchange

Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags and packaging intact.

Barnora reserves the right to request photo/video proof of the issue before approving the exchange. Video must be while opening the products. 

Each item/order is eligible for only one exchange.

Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the requested size/product is not available, a refund to the original payment method will be processed instead.

Order Confirmation & Processing

  • Order Confirmation: Orders are confirmed within 2 business days.
  • Order Processing: Takes 2 to 4 business days after confirmation.
  • Shipping Time: Delivery takes 3 to 10 business days via our courier partners.

Cancellation & Refunds

Order Cancellation: 
Orders cannot be cancelled once payment is confirmed.

Refunds: Refunds are issued only for confirmed store errors. Processing time for refunds is 7–10 working days. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used during purchase. For COD refunds, we provide a secure online link to process the refund.

Important Notes

  • Returned items must be in original condition — no signs of use or washing.

  • No refunds for sizing issues or personal preferences.

  • Barnora reserves the right to approve or reject any return or exchange after inspection and documentation review.

  • Refunds apply only to the product value. A flat deduction of ₹200 will apply to approved refunds, except in cases of a confirmed store error.
